PUBLIC NOTICE

BERESFORD MUNICIPAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Beresford intends to amend its Municipal Plan by changing the commercial use of the land bearing PID 20841912 to residential and its Zoning By-law by creating
a Type 1 Dwelling Complex Residential Zone (R5-1) within the Type 1 Central Commercial Zone (CC-1).
 

The purpose of this amendment is to allow the construction of 108 residential dwelling
units in blocks of 2 to 6 units in an integrated development on the land
identified by PID 208411912 and located at 874 Principale Street in Beresford.

The Town of
Beresford also intends to amend its Municipal Plan by changing the residential
use of the land bearing PID 20311296 to commercial and its Zoning By-law by
creating a Type 1 Recreation and Tourist Commercial Zone (CRT-1) within a Type
1 Very Low Density Non-Serviced Residential Zone (R1-1).
 

The purpose
of this amendment is to allow the construction of 10 cottages in the form of a
resort on the land identified by PID 20311296 and located at 85 Kent Lodge
Street in Beresford.

A public
hearing to consider written objections to the proposed amendments will be held
on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Beresford Town Hall, 855 Principale Street.
 

Written
objections or comments must be directed to the Town Clerk at 855 Principale
Street, Suite 2, Beresford, N.B. E8K 1T3, must state the reasons for objecting
to the by-law and must be received no later than Friday, May 6, 2022, at 4:30
p.m. to allow Council to consider the objections. Any person wishing to defend or
object to the written objections shall be heard at the above time and location.

the above address.
